These unique silver plated phone tokens were discontinued years ago when there was only one phone
company in Israel.  Instead of accepting traditional coins, customers had to purchase these tokens to
make calls on public phones.  A common nuisance when using these tokens was that calls would abruptly end
with no warning once the token ran out, forcing users to guess the amount of time they had left or repeat the call!
Tokens feature a beautiful deer logo and Hebrew writing of the Israel phone company.  About the size
of a nickel, tokens are bezel set in a silver plated backing.  Coin cufflinks are packaged in an

Regarded as the "luckiest" coin ever minted, the six pence was often placed in a brides shoe on
her wedding day.  Discontinued from circulation in 1967, the sixpence continued in use for some time
after decimalization in 1971.  It was especially useful for parking meters, but inflation and a
lack of encouragement in its use led to it being finally demonetized in June 1980.
These authentic sixpence coin cufflinks feature Queen Elizabeth II on the face, and a garland with rose, thistle
